    Frank Edward Venable died unexpectedly at home on Sunday April 10, 2016. He was 79.
    Mr. Venable, son of the late Charles and Laura (Leonard) Venable, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on Dec. 9, 1936. He had resided in Lincoln Park before moving to Hardyston Twp. in 1971.
    Mr. Venable was a machinist/tool and die maker. He worked for Republic Tool and Die in Fairfield for 26 years, later retiring from EJ Brooks of Newton in 2002 after 20 years with them.
    He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cutting firewood. Mr. Venable was a member of the NRA and the White Game Club in Shohola, Penn. As a man who could repair anything, it was often stated, “Whatever it is, Pop Pop can fix it.”
    Mr. Venable is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mardella (Martin) Venable; children, Laurie Struble of Edgewater, Florida, Bonnie Venable-Rowan and her husband Raymond of Hampton Twp., Edward Venable and his wife Cheryl of Highland Lakes, Jessica Leahy and her husband John of Green Twp. and Robert Venable and his fiancé Jessica Kus of Franklin; grandchildren, Ryan Rowan, Kyle Struble, Joshua Struble, Ashley Venable and Tanner Leahy; two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Carol Haring of Hancock, N.Y.
    A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16, at noon at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin. Friends may pay their respects to the family two hours prior to the service, from 10 a.m. until noon.
