Chocolate Goat to host April Showers event

LAFAYETTE — Birth Haven, a non-profit organization that provides shelter, support and education to homeless, pregnant women and girls will be hosting their annual April Showers event on April 23rd at the Lake Mohawk Country Club.
The Chocolate Goat has co-sponsored the event for the past 5 years.
The women and girls that come to Birth Haven are in a state of crisis. Many are homeless or in unsafe personal relationships. Birth Haven provides a safe place for the mother to be to prepare for life after their baby’s birth.
