Rosa joins Highlands State Bank

Kathryn Rosa has recently joined Highlands State Bank as Senior Vice President, Compliance & BSA Officer.
Rosa is responsible for ensuring the bank is adhering to applicable regulatory compliance banking laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). She will be work in the main office located in Vernon.
Rosa has a diverse banking background, beginning her career in 2004 at Skylands Community Bank as a teller. Since that time, she has accepted positions with progressively greater responsibility in the areas of mortgage banking compliance, financial analysis, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance and BSA.
Immediately prior to joining the Highlands State Bank team, Rosa served as vice president, Compliance & Community Reinvestment Act officer for First Bank in Hamilton.
Rosa graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts from Rider University in Lawrenceville. She is currently pursuing her Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager certification from the American Banker Association.
Rosa is an active member of the NJ Bankers Compliance & CRA Committee, as well as the BSA Sub-Committee. In addition to being involved in professional organizations, she is also a member of the Cranberry Lake Community Club Women’s Association and Salt Shakers Trail Running Club.
