Sussex Elks Lodge No. 2288 offered something for everyone with the proceeds helping to support their mission to serve children with special needs on Saturday.
In particular, the proceeds are to benefit the New Jersey Elks Camp Moore and to help fund a new spray park for the children who attend camp there. Sussex Elks will themselves be funding and sending five children to the camp this summer.
In all, some 34 vendors and organizations offered their wares and services. Elks Organizer Carol “Carrie” Palmer Meister is the Chair of the Special Children’s Committee and she was pleased with the attendance saying, “I’m happy with the turnout, I’m ecstatically happy.”
More information about the program is available by contacting Meister at Carolm713@yahoo.com or by calling 973-875-3990.
