Chamber orchestra invited to Teen Arts

The Vernon Township High School Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Jennifer Krott, was recently chosen to perform at the Teen Arts Showcase.
The showcase, which highlights top performers in vocal, instrumental, and theatre arts, was held at Sussex County Community College on April 13.
The VTHS Chamber Orchestra students perform at an average of 20 school and community events per year. This year’s highlights include performances at the NJ School Board Association Workshop in Atlantic City, the Grand Marshall Dinner for the Sussex County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, the Teen Arts Showcase, the Our Lady of Fatima High Tea, and the Vernon Historical Society Art Show. Upcoming community performances include the “Ecclectic Evening of the Arts" at Our Lady of Fatima on Friday, April 29, at 7 p.m. and Artstanding on Friday, May 6, which will be held at Lounsberry Hollow from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
