Sunday afternoon some 250 motorcycles and their riders and passengers roared into the parking lot of Sussex Elks Lodge #2288.
The annual Poker Run was to benefit the Elks’ mission to serve children with special needs. In particular, the proceeds are to benefit the New Jersey Elks Camp Moore and to help fund a new water spray park for the children who attend camp there.
In all, the event raised some $7,900.00.
The riders were also treated to a delicious buffet that included pulled pork from Mason’s Barbecue. The Elks’ Special Children’s Committee is continuing to raise funds for children in need.
