Talia Marie Phalon

Talia Marie Phalon, 33, died Tuesday April 26, 2016 in Newton, N.J. Ms. Phalon was born in Livingston, NJ August 5, 1982. She grew up in Monroe, N.Y. and graduated class of 2000 from Washingtonville High School, where she competed on the swim and softball teams. Talia was also a member of the Lake Wallkill Swim Team in Vernon Twp., where she spent her summers until moving there year-round five years ago.
Talia is survived by her sons, Raymond and Colin Brandefine; parents, Jack and Alexis Phalon of Lake Wallkill, N.J.; sister, Melissa Donoghue of Sayreville, N.J.; brother, Jack Phalon of Lake Wallkill, N.J.; nieces, Riley and Taylor Donoghue; maternal grandfather, Joseph Russo of Newark, N.J. as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services was held Saturday April 30, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. from Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct.) Vernon, NJ to St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Vernon for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Private cremation will follow.
