Frederic Charles Schweikhart

Frederic Charles Schweikhart, 73, passed away at the Newton Medical Center, on Tuesday April 26, 2016. Frederic was born on April 15, 1943, in Morristown, N.J., to the late Frederic Castle and Marion Ruth (Stadler) Schweikhart. Frederic has been a resident of Vernon Township for the last 38 years.
He was a graduate of Madison High School and served in the United States Navy. He was a heavy equipment mechanic for Eastern Concrete Company, Hamburg, N.J., for 24 years retiring in 2007.
Frederic is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Susan (nee Hartenstein) Schweikhart, his brother, Thomas Schweikhart, and his wife, Alison, of Morristown, his sister-in-law, Nancy Rosikiewicz and her fiancée, Scott Hinks, of Roxbury Township, his brother-in-law, John Hartenstein and his wife, Dana, of Sparta, and his three nephews, Matthew Hartenstein, Jason Sweedy, and Kyle Rosikiewicz, and his two nieces, Laura Hartenstein and Rose Schweikhart, and a grand nephew, Dylan Sweedy and a grand niece Liana Sweedy.
Relatives and friends were received on Sunday May 1, at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Court).
