Town resident losing credibility

Bill Gettler's savage attacks on Kathleen Gorman only adds to his declining popularity, respect and credibility.
Lake Neepaulin is settled law. I absolutely should not be paying an assessment for the mini Hoover Dam for the next 16 years, but like Bill Gettler, and unlike Kathleen Gorman, who took her discrimination suit to court and paid more than $15,000 to defend her and her neighbors' Constitutional Rights, I was not willing to take Wantage Township to court on my dime. Yes, FOLN should have borne the FULL brunt of paying for the dam, but the chances of that happening had little success as long as the then "professionals", the late Wantage Administrator Jim Doherty and disgraced Attorney Michael Garafalo had the committee's ears and confidence. They and their "professional" opinions are gone, and I, among others, am breathing a deep sigh of relief that I am finally safe from them.
And, the struggling Wantage taxpayers have every right to be very angry that they are paying the difference between what farmland assessment property owners are paying and what they should be paying, which is about 2 percent with the rest of us paying the balance. There are approximately 825 farmland assessments in Wantage riding the backs of the rest of the Wantage taxpayers, and Bill Gettler is one of the "takers", paying a mere $14.02 for 11.92 acres...and he's filing an appeal.
Unlike Bill Gettler, I attend most freeholder meetings, and I support Kathleen Gorman for Freeholder. She knows the peoples' issues of our county, and has the courage to take on those politicians who think the purpose of holding political office is to enrich themselves and their cronies. She will do an outstanding job for us, the people, instead of them, the high-maintenance political cronies, who have run our county into the ground. For confirmation, just check the foreclosure notices — 19 percent and climbing. The vast residual loss to the remaining taxpayers and businesses cannot be overstated.
It's time to stop the bleeding, and Kathleen Gorman is the person to do that.
