Affordable medical and dental care comes to Sussex County

NEWTON — State, county, and local officials came to welcome Zufall Health at its grand opening at 238 Spring Street last Tuesday.
As a nonprofit, state-licensed community health center, the new site is Zufall Health’s first Sussex County location, although the award-winning health center has been operating in Northern New Jersey for 25 years.
According to Zufall President and CEO Eva Turbiner, “It is our hope that our new family practice will make it easier for county residents who have had difficulty accessing and affording medical and dental care to get the care they need, especially agricultural workers. We expect to serve 3,000 patients here in our first year.”
The majority of Zufall Health’s staff are bilingual, which helps them serve a larger segment of the population. For hours and appointments or to learn more about the health center, patients can call 973-862-6650. For more information, visit zufallhealth.org.
