The continuing fundraisers for the Northern New Jersey Veterans Cemetery took an interesting twist Saturday night when nearly 100 people turned out for the Veteran’s Cemetery Casino Night Fundraiser held at St. Francis de Sales Church.
Donations for the tricky tray came from The Lafayette House, Sit and Chat Restaurant, The Mixing Bowl, John’s Barber Shop, Hi-Lites Salon, and Lakeland Bank.
Dinner and desserts were provided by The Chatterbox, Yetter’s Diner, Hampton Diner, Applebee’s, The George Inn, Weis Markets, and Irish Cottage Inn.
More fundraising is on the horizon. To help maintain the progress of the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, on Thursday, May 26, the Sussex County Technical School will present their annual Veteran’s Tribute Ceremony and Fashion Show. Tickets are $15 and include pre-show savory hors d’oeuvres and serving stations.
