If two full days of great music and great food aren’t enough of a good time, those attending the 7th annual Rock, Ribs & Ridges festival can stay the full weekend and be rewarded with two bonus concerts.
This annual summer bash features two days of great music by some of the biggest names in classic and Southern rock and mouthwatering barbecue served up by top regional chefs at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, NJ from June 25-26.
Festival-goers looking to stay overnight have the option of camping out throughout the weekend just a short three-minute walk from the festival area at the Fairgrounds. They also will receive exclusive campers-only, after-hours concerts by Stolen Rhodes and The Steppin’ Stones on the Main Stage.
“We’ve found that people who camp out or stay in their RVs find it really adds to their weekend here,” said Festival Executive Producer Howard Freeman of Promo 1. “Outdoor lovers benefit by making the most of their time in this scenic part of the state. Its also a cost efficient way to enjoy a truly amazing festival experience.”
The legendary Jefferson Starship, Kansas, Blues Traveler, the Outlaws and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Skynyrd head a lineup of nine bands that will perform over the weekend. Competitive rib teams will vie for thousands of dollars in prize money in a juried rib cook-off and the coveted titles of “Best Ribs,” “Best Sauce,” and “Weis Markets People’s Choice.”
The General Admission Weekend Pass with camping includes up to three nights of camping, access to the festival both days, access to campers-only concerts on the Main Stage by Stolen Rhodes on Friday night and by The Steppin’ Stones on Saturday night, overnight access to restrooms and hot and cold showers.
The VIP Weekend Pass with Camping includes up to three nights of camping, day-long access to the festival’s VIP Party Tent both days with VIP seating in front of the main concert stage. The VIP Party Tent also offers private food service and air-conditioned restrooms, access to campers-only concerts by Stolen Rhodes on Friday night and The Steppin’ Stones on Saturday night, and hot and cold showers.
Attendees can also enjoy a relaxing weekend in their own RV or camper. In addition to an RV pass, each camper must have a General Admission Weekend Pass with Camping or a VIP Weekend Pass with Camping.
