    Barbara J. Oliva, 90, of Montague N.J., died at home with her son Edward at her side.
    Barbara was born in Warsaw Poland in 1926. She lived in Poland, Austria, and Germany before emigrating to the United States in 1946. She lived in Fair Lawn, N.J., until moving to Sussex County in 1960. She lived in Wantage where she raised her children Edward and Barbara. She worked at the A&P in Sussex during this time. She also bred and showed Great Danes. In 1977, Barbara moved with her son, Edward to Manhattan where she worked in the restaurant and hotel industry until retiring in 1998. After her retirement, Barbara moved to Montague. Barbara loved animals, gardening, film comedies and interior design.
    She is survived by her son Edward Oliva of Montague, a daughter Barbara Garrabrant of Florida and a wonderful granddaughter Adriana.
