4-H camp to host family weekend

    L.G. Cook 4-H Camp will host its annual Spring Family Weekend beginning Friday, May 20. The weekend-long event is ideal for families who want to get away, make connections, and experience summer camp together in beautiful Stokes State Forest.
    Families will stay in rustic cabins, enjoy meals in the dining hall, and most importantly, appreciate quality family time in the great outdoors. Participants can choose from a variety of classic camp activities including archery, fishing, hiking, arts and crafts, outdoor cooking, kayaking, and canoeing. Families can also look forward to campfires and s’mores as well as time to relax around the lake and explore the 108-acre camp facility.
    Spring Family Weekend begins on Friday, May 20 at 6 p.m. and runs until Sunday, May 22, at 11:30 a.m. at the L.G. Cook 4-H Youth Center for Outdoor Education in Stokes State Forest, Branchville. The weekend costs $80 per person and includes lodging, food, and all activities. Children under 5 attend for free. Families can register online at http://nj4hcamp.rutgers.edu/
