VFW plans Memorial Day parade

VERNON — Wallkill Valley VFW Memorial Post 8441 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars is once again sponsoring the Annual Vernon Township Memorial Day Parade to be held on Monday, May 30.
The parade will start at the Dairy Queen on Route 94 and end at Veteran’s Memorial Park.
After the parade there will also be a solemn flag ceremony and gun salute at the post, followed by free hotdogs and refreshments.
Those wishing to march in the parade may call the post at 973-764-9380 in order to obtain the proper forms for participation.
