There was an assortment of pointers to be found in front of the table for the German Shorthair Pointer Rescue of New Jersey.
BARKS (Byram Animal Rescue Kindness Squad) brought a selection of adoptable cats, including this tabby.
Walnut Ridge Primary School staffer Maryann Vincent of Maison de Bocaux brought an assortment of her handcrafted works to sell to visitors.
VERNON — The Vernon Fire Department Company #1 brought an assortment of pets in need to their pet adoption day on Saturday.
Organizations hoping to place pets included Barks (Byram Animal Rescue Kindness Squad) and the German Shorthair Pointer Rescue of New Jersey.
Other vendors included Vernon-based The Pet Emergency Card, Maison de Bocaux, and jewelry by Peggy Merck. The firehouse is located at 537 County Route 515 in the Vernon town center.
