The Vernon Township High School’s Viking Robotics Team 1989, ran a road-side cleanup on Lake Wallkill Road, on Sunday, May 22.
This year Vernon was one of the top teams that qualified to enter the FRC World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri.
In addition to building and designing a robot, the Viking Robotics, led and organized by high school teacher, Anthony Ciaburri with the assistance of mentors, Martin Pirringer and Ed Hill, marketing and fundraising for the team are also a necessity.
Money is needed to pay for their entries into the competitions and court sponsors who could help mentor.
