Garden of Life Massage & yoga Center celebrated their relocation with a grand opening celebration on Saturday, April 30.
Wantage Mayor Ron Bassani, Sussex County Chamber of Commerce President Tammie Horsfield, Garden of Life Massage & Yoga Center owner and director, Dawn Gomez, and Garden of Life teachers, therapists, and staff members, Qaasim Munoz, Lisbeth Ryan, Charlene Andrewlavage, Sue Houghton, Kayla Spear, Elizabeth DeRosa, Donna Donahue, and Michele VanAllen conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony to make the re-opening official, and welcome the community into the new facility.
Gomez unified everyone in attendance by holding hands, asked them to recognize their presence in this community and the positive impact we have on each other when we take care of ourselves just before cutting the ribbon and opening the doors to the new facility
Saddled by days of rain, the center's opening had sunny skies and welcomed over close to 200 people through their doors that day. Visitors were able to attend a yoga class taught by Lisbeth Ryan and a Qi gong class taught by Qaasim Munoz, feel the benefit of massages from licensed massage therapists Charlene Andrewlavage, Sue Houghton, Qaasim Munoz, and Dawn Gomez, sit in the infrared sauna, and see the new float tank is all about.
Garden of Life's focus has been wellness since opening in 2003. A garden is filled with many plants and flowers, and so, Garden of Life offers many different paths to wellness; not only one style of massage and yoga, but many for lasting results. For each individual. The newest path is Floatation Therapy. A session in the warm buoyant Epsom salt filled water helps with circulation, neuromuscular activity, sleep, endorphins, and sensory stimulation.
