Cedar Mountain students earn awards

VERNON — On Thursday, June 9, 2016, Cedar Mountain Primary School in Vernon, celebrated their students’ many accomplishments this 2015-16 School Year during their Annual Awards Ceremony.
Students were awarded Presidential Academic Excellence Awards, Principal Awards, Reading Counts, Physical Fitness, Chorus and Band, Attendance Pick Up, Recycling and My County Poster Awards, to name a few.
Jeffrey M. Parrott, Sussex County Clerk and Jeanne Woodhouse, County Deputy Surrogate, presented four talented winners from the "My County" Poster Contest. Students were invited to create a poster that depicts the special and unique qualities of Sussex County. Posters will be displayed in the County Building during the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show this summer.
