    Eileen D. Taylor (nee Dempsey), 87 years old, died after a long illness at Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, June 19, 2016. Born to Peter and Irene Dempsey in Montclair, N.J., she lived in Riverdale, NJ before moving to Vernon Twp., N.J., in 1980.
    Eileen was a graduate of Berkeley Secretarial School and was a dedicated mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, listening to music and watching old movies. Eileen enjoyed collecting antiques and loved to go shopping.
    Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Taylor, Jr. and 2 brothers, William and Jackie Dempsey and 2 sisters, Joan Nighland and Lorraine Dempsey. She was the devoted mother of Joseph E. Taylor of Sussex, N.J., and Deborah Turner of Lakeville, Mass. Loving grandmother of Stacy Murphy, Christine Eccles, Tim and Holly Turner. Great grandmother of Sage Marie and James Eccles. Dear sister of Jean Powers of Pompton Plains, N.J., and Doris Dempsey of Las Vegas, Nev.
