Perfect weather for skydiving ‘Boogie’

As opposed to last year’s washed out event, the weather last weekend was perfect for the third annual “That’s How We Roll Boogie” skydiving event held at Sussex Airport.
Sponsored by Skydive Sussex, both professional skydivers and beginners were able to soar through the air like eagles. Dropping out of airplanes at 14,000 feet almost 100 beginners had the chance to tandem dive with over 200 instructors.
During the weekend, attempts were made to break existing records. To enable as many jumpers as possible to fill the skies, two larger than normal planes were brought in to bring as many as 24 skydivers up into the sky at one time.
