    Joseph Marino, 47, of Blairstown, was sentenced to 5 years at an adult diagnostic treatment center with credit for 257 days time served, Megan's Law Registration every 90 days, no unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with the victims, parole supervision for life, comply with the active sex offender restraining order, fines/fees $50 VCCA, $75 SNSF, $30 LEOTF, $100 Sex Crime Treatment penalty, $800 statewide sexual assault program penalty fee, $30 per month supervision.
    He pleaded guilty on Dec. 14, 2015 to one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (a second-degree offense).

    May 27

    Elisha Smolinski, 21, of Wantage was sentenced to 30 days at the Sussex County Correctional Facility which may be served through the Sheriff’s Labor Assistance Program, with 1 day jail credit. Defendant is sentenced to a two-year term of non-custodial probation, complying with all recommendations of probation including mental health evaluation and acquire GED within two years as condition (violation of which could result in resentencing up to 5 years in NJ State Prison and up to $15,000.00 in fines). Defendant shall pay $50 VCCA, $75 SNSF, $30 LEOTEF, $5 Probation Fee, $2 Transaction Fee.
    He pleaded guilty on April 13, to one count of making terroristic threats, a third-degree offense.

    Ronald Fedorka, 48, of Hopatcong was sentenced to a three-year suspended sentence with credit for time served, continue weekly outpatient treatment, follow recommendations, Megan's Law registration, parole supervision for life, no contact with the victim, no contact with minors without supervision.
    Defendant shall pay fines/fees of $100 VCCA, $75 SNSF, $30 LEOTEF, $750 SCVTF.
    He pleaded guilty on March 23 to one count of aggravated criminal sexual contact, a third-degree offense.

    June 17

    Timonthy Durgin, 22, of Newton was sentenced to 61 days in the Sussex County Correctional Facility with 61 days credit for time served. Defendant shall pay $100 VCCA, $75 SNSF, $30 LEOTEF.
    He pleaded guilty on May 10, to one count of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, a fourth-degree offense; and one count of disorderly persons simple Assault after being terminated from the pre-trial intervention program.
    Ricky McCarthy, 61, of Newton was sentenced to 15 days in the Sussex County Correctional Facility with 15 days credit as time served, one year of non-custodial probation concurrent but not co-terminus with Passaic County Probation, random drug screening and all recommendations of probation — violation of which could result in 5 Years NJ State Prison and up to $15,000 in fines. Defendant shall pay $50 VCCA, $75 SNSF, $30 LEOTEF, $5 Probation Fee, $2 transaction fee.
    He pleaded guilty on May 16, to one count of failure to register, a third-degree offense.
    Quincy Swinson, 30, of East Orange was sentenced to a two-year term of non-custodial probation, which may be transferred to Essex County Probation, violation of which could result in resentencing up to 5 years in state prison and up to $15,000 in fines.
    Defendant shall pay $50 VCCA, $75 SNSF, $30 LEOTEF, $5 probation fee, $2 transaction fee.
    He pleaded guilty on May 2 to one count of failure to register, a third-degree offense.

    June 24

    Amanda Walters, 37, of Sussex was sentenced to three years in New Jersey state prison on two counts, jail credit for 217 days, $50 VCCO, $75 SNSF, $40 LEOTEF on both charges, community supervision for life conveted to parole supervision for life immediately upon relief.
    She pleaded guilty on May 2, to two counts of violation of special sentence (Community Supervision for Life), a third-degree crime.

    June 27

    Kevin Acosta, 20, of Clifton pleaded guilty to attempted criminal trespass, a fourth-degree crime.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 12.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to attempting to enter two Hopatcong residences on May 19, without privilege to do so.
    The case was investigated by Patrolman Lotito of the Hopatcong Police Department.
    Jason Corey, 34, of Newton pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary, a crime of the third degree.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 12.
    The defendant admitted that he broke in to St. Paul’s Abbey and Monastery three separate times in August of 2014.
    Becky Charbonneau, 36, of Sussex pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a crime of the third degree.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 12.
    The defendant admitted to being in possession of Heroin in April when Vernon Police were responding to a welfare check on the defendant.
