Concetta Ann 'Connie' Monahan

    FRANKLIN — Concetta Ann “Connie” Monahan, 91, died after a brief illness at her daughter’s home on Tuesday, July 12. Born to Carmelo and Josephine Vaccaro in Paterson, she lived in Vernon Township before moving to Franklin.
    Connie worked at the Playboy Club in Vernon Township for 11 years and then managed and volunteered at the Vernon Township Senior Center until March of this year.
    Connie is predeceased by her husband, Michael Monahan (2004), and a sister, Sarah Monahan, and will be missed by her loving daughter, Eileen Dignardi; granddaughter, Justine Dignardi; and grandson, Raymond Dignardi. Dear sister of Joseph Vaccaro of Whiting, Nancy Robinson of Mehoopany, Pa., and Jennie Capozzi of Paterson.
    The family will receive their friends for memorial visitation at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94 (1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, on Friday, July 15, 3-5 p.m. Memorial service to follow at 5 p.m. Cremation is private.
