    Betty J. Banki, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Morristown Medical Center.
    Betty was born in Lafayette on Oct. 20, 1926, to Warren E. and Mabel Olive (Dickerson) Struble. Betty lived in Lafayette and Newton before moving to Franklin in 1956. She was a graduate of Newton High School, class of 1945.
    Although Betty worked part time in her earlier years, she dedicated her life to caring for her family. Her grandsons and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Betty loved family gatherings and looked forward to celebrating holidays, birthdays and family reunions. Betty was a loyal NY Yankees fan and had followed the team for decades.
    Betty was predeceased by her parents, her husband Alexander (2005) and her brothers Martin, Lawrence and Earl Douglas Struble.
    Betty is survived by her daughters Suzanne Morris and Brenda, both of Franklin; her son Jeffrey of Wantage; grandsons Matthew Banki and his wife Amanda, Daniel Banki and his wife Nicole, Gregory Banki and Kyle Banki; great grandchildren Kyle Stoll and Paityn Banki and several nieces, nephews and cousins,
    A graveside service will be held on Friday, Aug. 5, at 11:30 a.m. at North Hardyston Cemetery. A luncheon to celebrate Betty’s life will follow at the Franklin Presbyterian Church, 11-13 Main St. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wallkill Valley First Aid Squad, PO Box 274, Franklin, NJ 07416.
