Tintle graduates from Marywood University

VERNON — Dan Tintle, a 2012 graduate of Vernon Township High School and son of Phil and Chris Tintle, recently graduated from Marywood University of Scranton, Pa., as a Criminal Justice major with a minor in sociology.
Tintle was captain of the men's basketball team and captain of the men's tennis team. Last year, he and his first doubles partner were league champions. He also received the Sportsmanship Award for both basketball and tennis. He is a member of Pi Gamma Mu, the National Social Science Honor Society, and salute, the Student Veteran's Honor Society as a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard.
He plans to continue his education in the Fall by attending William James College of Psychology in Massachusetts in their Doctoral Program for a degree in Clinical Psychology.
