Newton-based potter and ceramic artist Sharon Pflug-Moench was on hand to throw and the carve clay vessels.

Chainsaw artist Kenny Scoggins of Artistry in Wood is shown creating a þÄúlittle dragon.þÄù Based in Heidelberg, Miss. This is their 11th year at the fair. During the day dozens of people at a time sat down and relaxed and watched him at work.

Zero Gravity was another ride that was in high demand.

Amanda Agne, 15, of LafayetteþÄôs Riverside Farm trims one of her sheep before bringing it to the judgesþÄô for competition.

Her favorite thing at the fair, Alyssa Reeber, 11, of Parsippany told the Inquiring Photographer that she highly recommends "The Wild Claw ride." It was only one of dozens of rides at the fair.

Being upside down and spinning through the air is not for everyone, although the PharaohþÄôs Fury didnþÄôt go quite that far.

AUGUSTA — The New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm and Horse Show is over after its nine-day run.
It was likely one of the hottest fairs yet with temperatures often reaching the 90° mark with occasional thunderstorms an on again off again thing.
