    Helen H. Russell, age 83, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016, at her home while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wantage to the late Harold and Elizabeth (Crane) Hill, Mrs. Russell had graduated from the Sussex High School in 1951 with honors and had lived in Sussex County all of her life. She had been employed in the food industry for many years and retired 20 years ago from the Sussex-Wantage Regional School System. Mrs. Russell was an active member, of the First Presbyterian Church of Sussex and the Frankford Seniors.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Robert "Skip" Russell in 1998. She is survived by her two daughters, Betty Jane R. Hosking of Elizabethtown, PA and Judy Nelson of Wantage; her brother, William Hill of Fredon; her two sisters, Mary Banghart of Branchville and Martha Boyko of Lake Shawnee; her two grandchildren, Kyle Hosking and Jennifer Nelson; and her great granddaughter, Grace Hosking. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Interment to follow at Clove Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Thursday one hour prior to the funeral service between 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
