Art council to offer grant writing workshops

NEWTON — The Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council will be offering two Art Grant writing workshops for General Operating and Special Project grants, which will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15, at 7 P.M. and Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m.
Those organizations that wish to apply must attend one of the workshops.
These grants are available to non-profits in Sussex County whose businesses are based in or offer art projects to their patrons. Last year, the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council re-granted 18 organizations with a total of $38,495.
