SCCC announces extended hours

    Sussex County Community College will hold extended office hours through Sept. 12 to accommodate students who want to register for the fall 2016 semester.
    Extended hours are: Monday, 8 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Thursday, 8 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. until noon on Aug. 27, Sept, 3 and 10.
    The extended office hours are for the Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid Office, The Student Advising and Counseling Center and the Bursar’s Office. Please note the college will be closed on Sept. 5 for Labor Day.
    SCCC offers degrees, degree options, and professional certificates to get students started on a college education or on a new career path. New programs in Building Construction, Cosmetology, Hotel/Restaurant Management, Music and Technical Studies have been added to our list of degree programs. Plus our new online programs in Business Administration and Liberal Arts.
    Classes begin on Tuesday, Sept. 6, for the fall semester. Students can register for courses through the late registration period up until Sept. 12.
