The Friends of the Sussex-Wantage Library will host a free performance by Irish singer Ian Gallagher at the library’s outdoor theater on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m.
The popular entertainer will headline the final concert in the Friends’ three-week concert series, “Thursdays at the Amp.”
Ian Gallagher’s fine voice is deeply imbued with his Irish roots. He is not only a guitarist and singer, but an all-around entertainer who uses his personal touch to put a smile on the faces of his audience. In addition to Irish folk tunes, his repertoire includes oldies, rock, jazz, and country music.
Free tickets for the performance will be available beginning Thursday, Aug. 25. Stop by the Sussex-Wantage Library to pick up your tickets, or call 973-875-3940 and ask for some to be set aside in your name. All remaining tickets will be available at the performance.
Please bring your own blankets and chairs. All children must be accompanied by an adult. In case of bad weather, the program will be held indoors.
