VERNON — The sound of music and the happy voices of children brought the fields below the Wawayanda escarpment to life at Rickey Farm on Saturday.
The free event brought hundreds of visitors to mix and mingle with various church groups such as the Sonrise Mountain Revival.
Later in the afternoon Eddy Miller of the Hamburg-based EaZy Bubbles was on hand to further excite the children. Farm animals, a bounce house, and pony rides were also available.
There are numerous events planned at the farm in the months to come.
