School starts for area students

    Dr. Charles McKay, Assistant Superintendent of the Vernon Township School District welcomed 7th and 8th grade students as they arrived from some 13 buses at the upper parking lot of Glen Meadow Middle School. He also welcomed the bus drivers and shared high fives with some of the students.

VERNON — Dr. Charles McKay, Assistant Superintendent of Vernon Township School District welcomed 7th and 8th grade students as they arrived from 13 buses at the upper parking lot of Glen Meadow Middle School on Tuesday morning.
For hundreds of seventh- and and eighth-grade students once again returning to school signaled the end of summer. Throughout the morning Principal Pauline Anderson and Assistant Principal Eric Kosek visited classrooms to welcome the children.
