The Vernon Township High School Robotics team, 1989, will be doing a roadside clean-up, Sunday, Oct. 9, on Barrett Road.
This will not only benefit the environment but also allow the team to raise much needed funds that will facilitate their entering upcoming competitions in which they will build and program a robot. In May, the team qualified to enter the World’s largest robotics competition: The annual FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Championship, which took place in St. Louis, Mo.
The team is led by Anthony Ciaburri & Aaron Kiedes, members of the VTHS faculty as well as Martin Pirringer.
