Imagine taking a coach bus and visiting some of the most exquisite backyard gardens in Sussex and Orange County. At each stop tour participants will not only be treated to an amazing water feature but also to a different dinner course – starting with appetizers and finishing with dessert. A special wine pairing will accompany each course at each stop. So now you are enjoying great food, sipping wine and watching the flash of hardy pool fish – koi and goldfish- set in backyard ponds with cascading waterfalls and streams. What could be better? The Ponds of Hope Garden Tour is a fund raising event to benefit Ginnie’s House of Newton, New Jersey. All proceeds from the tour will benefit this children’s advocacy group that has been helping kids since 1995.
The tour will start at the Sussex County Fair Grounds and wind its way to stops in Lafayette, Warwick, NY, Wantage and Westown, NY before returning to the fair grounds. The Ponds of Hope afternoon and evening pond tour will take place on Saturday, September 24th beginning at 4:00 PM. Tickets are $95 per person and can be reserved by calling Garden State Koi & Aquatic Center at 845.651.4100 or emailing sales@gardenstatekoi.com
