VTHS to host marching band competition

VERNON — The Vernon Township High School and Vernon Instrumental Parents are preparing to host a U.S. Band's Marching Band Competition on September 24, 2016 at Vernon Township High School's Macerino Stadium, 1832 Glenwood Road, N.J.
Marching bands from all over Northern New Jersey will be participating in this event. There will also be a special performance by the award winning Viking Marching Band. This exciting event is open to the public and tickets will be available for purchase at the stadium.
Vernon Instrumental Parents, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded to support music education at Vernon Township High School. VIP is a volunteer group that relies on the support of our families, friends, community and local businesses.
V.I.P. engages in fundraising activities on an ongoing basis and is seeking donations, not only monetary, but also supplies for the upcoming competition and other events held throughout the school year. Useful items include bottled water, napkins, paper plates, hot and cold drink cups, single-serve size snacks and beverages.
