Walnut Ridge offers fall harvest open house

Young children and their parents were able to explore the gymnasium floor of the multi-purpose room.
The Vernon Township Fire Department also brought a fire engine for the children and their families to explore.

VERNON — On Saturday, the Walnut Ridge Primary School held its annual Fall Harvest Open House.
The event included tours of the school along with about a dozen organizations offering their services in the field behind the school. The Vernon Township Education Association greeted visitors as they arrived. In addition, The Vernon Coalition To Be Drug Free had a table with literature for the parents.
There were also a variety of other activity stations inside and out including recruiting stations for the Pace Institute of Karate and the Vernon Valley Karate Academy. The Vernon Township Fire Department also brought a fire engine for the children and their families to explore.
