Don't tread on me
| 21 Sep 2016 | 11:00
PHOTO BY CHRIS WYMAN The section of Wawayanda Road between Lake Wanda and Barry Lakes has long been known to be treacherous, especially the section of þÄúSþÄù turns between the Sussex Rural Electric transmission station and the Barry Lakes Clubhouse, and it has been the site of both one- and multiple-vehicle accidents. But who would expect a timber rattlesnake to be warming itself in the northbound lane as this one was on Saturday afternoon at around 4:15 p.m. The good news is that it was gone, without a trace, about 45 minutes later.
