    Sept. 13

    Crystal Farrell, 34, of Hopatcong pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property, a third-degree crime.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 21.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to receiving a stolen Dell laptop and an iPhone in Hopatcong.

    Sept. 16

    Jonathan Barkhorn, 32, of Sparta was sentenced to 270 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility and was given credit for 120 days served.
    He was ordered to submit a DNA sample at his own expense and pay fines and fees totaling $155.
    He pleaded guilty on March 7, to Resisting Arrest, a fourth-degree crime.
    The defendant admitted to running from police officers after they ordered him to stop in an attempt to avoid arrest on March 31 in Sparta Township.
    Daniel Kutzler, 26, of Port Jervis, N.Y., was sentenced to two years of probation and 90 days in the sheriff's Labor Assistance Program and jail credit for 17 days.
    If defendant violates, the balance of SLAP will be served in the Keogh-Dwyer Correction Facility. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim, make joint and several restitution of $17.50, submit a DNA sample at his own expense and pay fines and fees totaling $175.
    He pleaded guilty on July 11, 2016, to simple assault, a disorderly persons offense.
    The defendant offered money to his co-defendant to scare the victim and resulted in the physical assault of the victim on July 14, 2014, in Montague.
