Joseph H. Gallagher

Joseph H. Gallagher, 55, passed away on Sunday October 2, 2016. Joseph was born on Oct. 27, 1960 in Teaneck, N.J., to Hugh J. and Patricia (nee Holtz) Gallagher. He was a resident of Vernon Township and Lake Hopatcong before moving to McAfee two years ago.
He was a chef and employed throughout the Sussex County area in several restaurants and most recently Tony’s Family Restaurant Pizza and Pub in Stockholm, N.J.
He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia (nee Holtz) Gallagher in 1985.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Valree (nee Stokes) Gallagher, his daughter, Stacey Krok and her husband Robert, and his grandchildren, Brenden, twins, Ashlee, Austyn and Logan, his father, Hugh J. Gallagher, his brothers, George Gallagher and his wife Linda, Kevin Gallagher and his wife Heidi and his nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends will received on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 2-4 p.m. with 4 p.m. services at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, N.J. Cremations services are private.
