Christopher Michael Moran

Christopher Michael Moran, 54 years old, died unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016. Born to John and Annette Moran in Westwood, N.J, he had lived in Newton since 2005 before moving to Vernon Twp., N.J., 3 years ago.
Christopher was a graduate of Vernon Twp. High School and worked many food service jobs most recently as a banquet manager for the Lafayette House in Lafayette Twp., N.J. He was an avid New York Mets and New Jersey Devils fan and enjoyed playing golf.
Christopher is predeceased by his father, John P. Moran and was the father of Erin Vybihal and her husband, Kevin, of Vernon Twp., N.J. Grandfather of Emma, Kinsley and Hazel. Son of Annette Moran of Vernon Twp., N.J. Brother of Eileen Kendall and her husband, Paul, of Springfield, Vt., Stephen Moran and his wife, Maryellen of Vernon Twp., N.J, John Moran of Billerica, Mass., and Maureen Walker and her husband, Michael, of Vernon Twp., N.J. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends for memorial visitation at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94 (1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, N.J. on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-8:30 p.m. Memorial service to follow at 8:30 p.m. Memorial mass will be Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at 10 a.m. at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg, N.J.
