The Glen Meadow Middle School’s Team Adventure program brought the school’s 7th and 8th graders into exercises designed to teach leadership, teamwork, cooperation and trust on Friday.
According to Vice Principal Eric Kosek, this year’s program was organized by Guidance Counselor Alexis DiMartino.
In the fields to the right side and behind the school the students shared the school-wide initiative aimed to promote an exciting, positive, and supportive school climate. With students of both grades paired together in teams, teamwork and inclusiveness were the desired end result of the program.
Behind the school on the Ropes Course, students were high above the ground as they learned to trust in each other and the systems of ropes and pulleys that kept them from falling to the earth far below. The course has three segments: the Catwalk, Burma Bridge, and Flying Squirrel.
