    Once again, the pig races have returned to Heaven Hill Farm. This yearþÄôs race master for the þÄúPigtucky DerbyþÄù pig races at Heaven Hill Farm is owner Martin Theobald or þÄúCowboy BobþÄù who dressed for the role in black, pretty much from top to bottom.

    Pumpkins are what many people come to the farm for, but there is so much more to explore and do including a complete carnival.

VERNON — The Great Pumpkin Festival is in full swing at Heaven Hill Farm on Route 94. The festivities will continue through Halloween and beyond through Nov. 6. The farm market is open seven days each week.
This year’s offerings include: Farm Animals, Hay Maze, Spider web crawl, Maggie The Milking Cow, Monster Sling Shots, Barnyard Sports Ball-cade, Post Pounders, Hay Crawl, Corn Boxes, Bee Barn with Glass Bee Hive, Visiting Farm Animals, Boo Barn, Chicken Little Show, Chick Barn, Dancing Robot Show, Duck Racing, Vortex Tunnel, Obstacle course, Tether ball, Poly Pong, Lincoln Log Cabin builder, and Maize Quest.
When you go to visit, don’t forget to bring your camera as a great many of the farm’s visitors already know. Also mark your calendars for the annual trick or treat costume contest to be held on the day before Halloween, Sunday, Oct. 30 at 1 p.m.
