Tony Scorciolla, a local 68 Trade School teacher and administrator, spoke with seniors in the newly created Construction Facilities Management (CFM) program at Vernon Township High School.
The VTHS program is affiliated with Local 68 Operating Engineers where students could accumulate introductory credits by completing two years of CFM.
VTHS’ CFM teacher, Michael DeVore, used to be a member of the Local 68. Scorciolla spoke about trade schools, and specifically how Local 68, which includes many different trades, can offer them some options a little more locally than many other trade schools.
