Wantage car, truck and motorcycle show a tradition

Despite cloudy skies, on Sunday the Ninth Annual Veterans Memorial Car, Truck and Bike Show drew a steady stream of visitors and vintage auto fans to Woodbourne Veterans Memorial Park.
According to Wantage Township Recreation Commission member Christine Keller this year’s proceeds will benefit the Welcome Home Vets Fund of New Jersey, Inc.
According to organizer Christine Keller, the following are this year’s winners: First place Best in Show car to Hank Bauman for a 1928 5 window Model A Ford; First place Best in Show truck to Ed Strotmel for a 1952 Chevy 3100 pickup; First place Best in Show motorcycle to Glenn Keller for a 1996 Harley Davidson Fatboy; People's Choice car to Ken Robertson for a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette; People's Choice truck to K & A Towing for a 1996 international 4700; People's Choice motorcycle to Frank Campione for a 1957 Harley Davidson ST165; Veterans Choice Car to Bob Lordy for a 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe; Veterans Choice truck to Garrett Merselis for a 1939 International D2 pickup; and Veterans Choice motorcycle to Mark Magura for a 2010 Big Bear Chopper.
