The much-anticipated Girls World Expo returns Sunday, Oct. 30 — and the 500 free pre-sale tickets are going quickly. Reserve your tickets and avoid paying $10 at the door by pre-registering at www.girlsworldexpo.com/tristate2016.
This year’s Girls World Expo, taking place at Palacio Conference Center in Goshen, New York, has something fun and empowering for every teenage girl out there: hop in the aerial yoga silks and learn from the pros, unleash your inner nerd at the STEM and college fairs, get your hair and makeup done professionally at the Pamper Me Lounge, check out the Girls Know Auto excursion to learn everything you need to know about changing a tire, oil, and more.
In between visiting all of the unique vendors and booths, ticket holders get the opportunity to meet and learn from local, professional women making a difference in the community.
“Every year, we go back and try to address the issues teen girls are facing both in school and online,” explains Girls World President Varinda Missett.
This year’s lineup of speakers does not disappoint. Raven Hills Farms’ Deirdre Hamling will be teaching girls how to harness the power of horses to build self-esteem. Girls will get the chance to learn nutrition tips from Nancy Pagan of Warwick’s Feminine Fun Fitness. Nationally-recognized authority leadership consultant Dr. Stacey Radin will be leading an inspiring seminar on bravery.
