The New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm and Horse was the new venue for the 4th Annual Dog Walk of the Dead, organized by Anthony and Deann Muzikar.
Saturday’s event was held to benefit One Step Closer Animal Rescue (OSCAR). Despite the foul weather about 450 people along with their pups came out to have a good time.
Rather than actually holding the Walk of the Dead outdoors, attendees opted to spend the last half hour of the event inside the Richards building and and enjoy the vendors and music.
According to Mr. Muzikar, 28 successful blood donations were also collected. He also expressed special thanks to Casey Honig and WDHA who rocked the visitors throughout the afternoon.
