Santa Paws coming to Vernon

VERNON — DOGS of Vernon announces that its annual Pictures with Santa Paws fundraiser will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Vernon Dog Park on Rt. 517 in Vernon.
Dog lovers can get keepsake photos of their dog with Santa and Mrs. Paws. A $10 donation per sitting gets them three high-resolution digital photos.
Visitors can also get some holiday shopping done as there will be stocking stuffers for dog lovers on display to order. All proceeds benefit the Vernon Dog Park. A rain date is set for Nov. 20.
The Pictures with Santa Paws fundraiser is one of several fundraisers held throughout the year to help keep the Vernon Dog Park running, so dogs have a beautiful, clean park to exercise and socialize. It costs about $600/month to keep the park running and relies on the donations of park friends and patrons.
