Vernon resident regrets resignation

I really regret that Tom McClachrie resigned from the Vernon MUA. He is a man who has a vast knowledge of sewer systems and has always stood out from the crowd because of his high principles. I’ve always looked up to him and been inspired by his fearlessness.
Thank you, Tom, for all you have endeavored to do for our town and the Veterans at VFW Post 8441. You are an “unsung hero” who has attempted to make a difference in Vernon. Your resignation from the MUA is a great loss for everyone.
