Sandra Lee Chesnut

Sandra Lee Chesnut, passed Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, peacefully at home with family after a long illness.
Born August 21, 1945 to Albert John and Claire Bakunas, she was raised in Fort Lee, N.J., and resided in Vernon Twp., N.J. She was retired and owner of North Jersey Pump in Butler, N.J. Graduate of Caldwell College with a doctorate in Child Psychology.
Loving wife of Larry “Ches” Chesnut, loving mother to Rich Bakunas and his wife, Tracy, Chris Chesnut and his wife, Maryann, Samantha Chesnut, Gretchen Kolakowski and her husband, Robert and Lorraine Poat and her husband, Jeff. She had 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The family will receive their friends at Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, N.J., on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, from 9–11 a.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin, NJ at noon. Interment to follow at Deckertown-Union Cemetery, Wantage Twp., NJ. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers to Harvest House Food Bank, P.O.
