Historical society plans holiday party

VERNON — The Vernon Township Historical Society invites everyone to their annual Holiday Party and Gift Fair on Dec. 18 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be free refreshments, holiday music, vintage holiday displays, and many great gifts for purchase for the holidays. The event will be held at society headquarters at 293 Route 94 in Vernon.
This year’s theme will be “An Old-Fashioned Christmas.”
The society museum will be decorated with holiday ornaments for Christmas and Hanukkah. Anyone willing to donate or give on loan vintage decorations and holiday items for the society’s use is asked to contact Nancy Adam at 973-827-7192. In addition, there will be live music and lots of holiday cookies. Santa will also be on hand to take photos with the children.
